Trying to catch up...

Since I don't have much spare time these days, I've decided to use this blog as my new scrapbook. I just wanted to catch up on a few big things I've missed because it took me so darn
long. Anyhoo, here it goes...

October 20-25 we went to Disneyland with our friends

The gang: Jeri, Blake, Stratton, Marley, Angie, Tim, Madison, Macey, Ty, Tiff and boys. Blake's dad, Russ, also came with us but he was taking the picture. (cutest grandpa ever, he treated all of the kids just like his own grandkids...he was so much fun)

Cuties at the airport....while we were at Disneyland we were asked a few times if Austin, Stratton, Madison & Macey were quads.

Our first day we went to the beach....it was warm but the water was freezing! We couldn't keep the kids out of the water, Colby even learned to body surf!Marley was head to toe in sand...sooo funny!Colby got chosen out of the audience for Jedi training, he got to fight Darth-malJust one of the girls!.. (look at the goat's face he looks like he's smiling)... I swear they tranquilized these animals, they did not move at all...so weird, but funny.so cute!Austin's favorite treat was cotton candy, he asked for it every day.Colby has always been afraid of the characters (ever since "the giant pizza incident" in 03'), but this year he was very brave...getting autographs was his favorite part...we are so proud!

Yes, on our last day, Colby and I waited an hour to visit Tinkerbell and her friends! At the end of every day, we barely got their jammies on and ready for bed before they totally crashed. We all had so much fun... the boys have already made plans for our next Disney trip! Can't wait!

SAWYER'S FIRST CHRISTMAS

Every year at the Christensen family party, Santa comes and brings a gift for all the unmarried children, Austin liked it, Sawyer..not so much, Colby won't come within 10 feet (again, since the giant pizza incident of 03')...maybe next year!

Austin performing "Jingle Bells" accompanied by Ty's uncle Blake with the guitar. (he refused to sing without it!)..such a "ham".Austin got the white robot he'd been asking forWho is the mystery kid you ask?... That's Kyson, Ty's cousin's boy, he decided he wanted to join us, so we let him.

Christmas is so much fun with kids. They really bring the magic back into it. My favorite memories of Christmas this year.... Colby reading the story of Christmas, the "elf on the shelf", our new baby Sawyer, letters to Santa, the looks on their faces when they first spot the presents, my present from Tyler (below), christmas music & singing with the kids (Austin loves to sing, even if he doesn't know the words!). I am so greatful for the season and the reminder it brings for us to remember our Savior and the life he lived for us.

My present from Tyler....so sweet!
