Halloween Festivities!

I LOVE Halloween! I love dressing up, all the fun snacks, decorations and of course the candy. Festivities began the weekend before, my mom, sister, and her kids came to visit. We went to the "Pumpkin Walk". We look forward to this every year. All the displays are so amazing and different every year. Everything is made from pumpkins and gourds. So fun! Afterwards we came home for some hot dog mummies and soup. Thanks for coming to visit guys...we love you! Charlie Brown

Friday, we went to a Halloween party at a friends house. We decided to do a group costume: present, christmas tree, elf, and christmas lights. Didn't Kenzie do such a great job? She totally looks like Buddy...hilarious! Tyler's costume was so huge, we could barely fit it in the car. I had to sit in the back seat, and we barely fit it in the front. They were so fun and EASY to make!Kelly and Steve were Mr. Fredrickson and Russell from "UP"....ADORABLE! They had every detail covered, down to the grape pin and the tennis balls on the walker!Fun & Games!Tyler playing a "minute to win it" challenge.Jared and Celeste were an angel & a devil..so cute! Thanks guys it was so much fun!

Best and last of all...TRICK-OR-TREAT! Austin was a hot dog vendor. One of my favorite costumes I've ever done, it was a hit, soooooo cute! Colby was a mad scientist, and how do you like Sawyer's costume?....that's right, he wouldn't put it on! He fell asleep right before it was time to go, and when he woke up, he didn't want anything to do with it. He still wanted to trick or treat though. Maybe next year.

My kids got jipped last year with the swine flu.... this year it rained for a long time, the kids didn't seem to mind, but the rain was ruining Austin's costume. Eventually it stopped though, and they had a great time.
